Supra investment?

Hey guys, I was thinking about purchasing an '85 Supra with a blown engine or something if i could find it for around $3-400. I would get the good parts off (differential, spoiler, rims, etc.) then part out the rest to get my money back. Think this is worthwhile and would anyone be interested in parts? I figure i would save a bundle rather than spending 500+ on the parts from Pick n Pull, plus theoretically they should be in better condition. I also guess i would be able to make my money back parting it out.
