ok here is my dilema. should i go carbs, i got a good deal on a pair of mikunis that i'm buying,it's complete with intake manifold and linkages, it's for a 22r set ur actually i have a 22re, i don't mind getting the head from the junkyard and gettin it shaved and valve job either. i want to stick with the EFI setup, and harness as much HP as i can, before i do a backward leap to carbs. I won't go turbo on my celica, i just want good'ol N/A power. i've got a decent setup now. i want bigger cams but at an EFI setup is also limited to like 280 duration. i want to go bigger i've got the parts i need all i need is some advice. also i p/u some rota turbo rims heard of these there 13x7 and i want to put them on my car there built with a celica bolt pattern. i want my car to look JDM as possible the only thing holding me up is the CARB issue. i want to get a different head and put the carbs on them and just sawp out the head from my EFI setup to the CARB setup. but since i live in a freakin smog nazi area i don't want to go all out. i have a straight pipe with an HKS exhuast system that i took from an mazda rx-7, with DT headers (thanks steve i took the dt exhuast manifold gasket but i had to add on another stock one from a 22r. the holes are bigger. i just cut it like the dt gaskets)anyway since the headers were put in i felt a big difference, i can feel the car pull. the next issue is my shocks & a paint job more on those soon.
