Dude, that is just WEIRD. Okay, well, since you ruled out the crank seal (or main seal, for some) then that's GOOD because that's a ton of time and money to replace. BUT, I do think it's weird that it would leak as soon as the water pump is spinning. I got an idea, though. I'm looking in my Chilton, and it says the fan is attached to a "fluid coupling", that B-17 engine looking deal that bolts to the pulley itself. I'm thinking that means that it's a clutch type fan that will only spin at a certain speed no matter how fast your engine is going. It says in the book not to tip it over otherwise the fluid will run out. Dude, that's GOT to be it, and you said there's a hole in it, right? Maybe all you need is a new fan coupling that doesn't leak it's oil everywhere. Maybe you should just pick up that part by itself, and swing it around a few times to see if it sprays crap everywhere. Thoughts?
