It could be old long-life coolant, which turns from pink to redish-brown over time. If it's milky though, its probably coolant mixed with oil, which means they are mixing, likely but not for sure caused by a blown haed gasket. It also could be mixing through the water pump assembly. Your waterpump and/or thermosat are probably dead either way.
