That isn't bad. I just means you will have a lot easier time sending the power to the pavement and a more difficult time cornering. All real drag racers use solid axel.
I think there still is a supra swap that will give you LSD and disc brakes. It would be from an eairly MKI supra. For more info on this join the old celica club mailing list and ask them.
