The supra AFM allows for more air to go into the engine, therefore increasing power. Remember the more air goes in, the more gas goes in. This AFM is is good for a few points HP wise. The reason why the 82 works is because it has the same circuit board as the celica. Plus im not sure, but it may already have a cone airfilter attachment. Be sure to snag the piping when you get it from the junk yard because the toyota dealership asks 750 for one!
