Twas the night before the street race and all through the streets no exhaust noise was made, not even a peep. The ricer was parked in the garage out of sight, I had just settled in with some hotties for the night. My keys hung up, the magazines in the drawers, the only sounds to be heard were a few loud snores. When out on the street I heard a great roar. It sounded like a tornado coming to my door. I sprang from my bed, threw on my pants, ran to the window and took a quick glance. And there in the street sat a ricer or three. One Civic hatchback, one CRX, and one Coupe to be seen. There motors all revved, spooled and blew off. I could tell right away they were hardcore, not soft. Out stepped the driver's, two guys and a girl. Three of the craziest street racers in the world. They all carried gifts for under my tree: intake, header, exhaust, one from each of the three. Cam gears, pulleys, strut bars and springs. I knew in a flash what I would do with these things. I would put them on my ricer and make it go fast. Tear up the streets and kick some domestic ass. Next is the inner cooler, super charger and nos. And then came the motor to swap out for larger. With just a little work we know it can be done; make your ricer go faster, ten seconds is fun. With those final words they climbed into their rides, lined up in the street side by side. Then all of a sudden a christmas tree appeared, but not the kind thought of this time of year. Three yellows and a green, the lights quickly dropped. The three squealed off the line. OH, SHIT!!! It's the cops. They all got away, leaving 5-0 in the dust. No tickets, no impounds, not even a bust. The last thing I heard as they sped out of sight twas GET IN YOUR RIDE, THERE'S A STREET RACE TONIGHT!
