a few years back, i bought an adapter plate so i could bolt a tremec 6-speed in my celica, and i needed a bellhousing from a truck since they are supposedly shorter... in other words, your tranny will probably be a bit further back with a celica bellhousing, but i don't know about shifter location... i hope this helps some
