Rear Axle

I found some guy's site the other day and he said that he was converting his rear axle (81 Celica ST) to a Supra rear. I don't know what year the supra was(cause I can't find the page again), but I was wondering if any of you knew if that was possible or not.

He wasn't finished, so I didn't give it too much thought at the time. But now that I think of it, I've always wanted limited slip diff in the back, and those discs wouldn't be bad, either.

The only trick is that I thought all Supras had independent suspension, whereas an 81 celica does not.
