Alternator problem!!

Hi guys today i was late to work cause of my alternator when out on me,i knew there was something wrong cause when i used my turn signals my volt gauge goes up and down a bit a te same tempo as the signal,so i changed the thing and now the new one does the same thing plus when im using the reverse and that little lite comes on the gauge goes all the way down to 12 or 11 and this is the new alternator,also all this is with out turning the stereo and amplifiers on,can you guy tell me if teres any way i can get an alternator with more than the stock 61 to 65 amps,and from what kind of car,thank you
