Ahh, i see you have found the secret bitch bolt. I never broke the bolt... but I've had that bolt hide from me twice and i had it break a brand new timing chain cover once. You'll be fine as long as it didnt strip the threads out or crack the timing chain cover. All you need is a broken bolt remover. I've never actually used the tool... but it acts like a drill and drills into the broken bolt then somehow works backwards to remove it. its a nice tool to have around while doing engine work.
One thing you can also try is if the bolt is sticking out at all, use a hack-saw and cut a line through the top of the broken bolt then use a flat-head screw driver to screw it out with. So basically you are transforming the broken bolt into a screw.
