I have to replace my timing chain. The service charge will be around $1,000 total. They suggested a new engine, that'll cost about the same and might be faster for then install.(not sure why they suggested a new engine) They said a 22RE can cost anywhere from $200 - $1,000 used. kinda a wide price gap if you ask me! :-/ Oh well, i love my celica to pieces and wont let it go for a long time.
