84 celica gt, help please!

Maybe someone here can help me. Yesterday I drove about 300 miles. My car has always leaked oil, but never so bad my mechanic thought it was a serious problem. Well, halfway through the drive I checked the oil and it was completely empty even though I had put in two quarts before I left. So, I added another quart and finished the drive. A couple blocks from where I was going it started dying when I took it out of gear. I couldn't get it to start unless it was in gear too. It finally wouldn't start and overheated. I put in two more quarts of oil so I could get it two more blocks and it just made it and then started overheating again. I haven't tried starting it since last night and all the oil I put in came right back out pretty much. Also there was a milky grey liquid on the dipstick. Just wondering if someone could give me an idea of what this is and how bad it is. Thanks so much.
