87 GT Celica convertible

My Mom bought an 87 GT conv. and I haven't had a chance to see it (I live in Germany). Couldn't find one on the web either. Anyone have a pic? Also.., I'm getting the idea that Celicas don't have VIN codes like the US cars do? Looks like they only have a 4-digit "tanny code". Right?
