If everything is prepaired well then the regular gasket will last a good long time. But the inline six motors are very vunerable to BHG. And A metal head gasket, on a good seating surface, will last allot longer than an OEM head gasket. New head bolts are a given. But there is a difference between a stud and a bolt. A stud will hold allot better than a bolt because both ends are holding torque. ARP studs are very renound.

Part of the reason supras have a head gasket problem is because the head bolts losten up. Coolant wont help this. But good coolant is ofcourse a very good investment. I like redline water wetter too.
