I am not sure about Saturn's, but most cars that come with those cool lights stock are running High Intensity Discharge (H.I.D.) lighting. I really love HID lights but a real HID setup runs in the neighborhood of US $1,000.

So no those are not the same as HID. But those should be better than the OEM lights. I believe those lights are tinted blue. PIAA is supposed to be a good name. I personally like Hella. Toysport is not famous for its customer service. Don't bother emailing them you may never get a response. You'd have to call them.

One point of warning, upgrading to blue lights is illegal and may make you car rice :-). I would go with just a light tint of blue. Too extreme and you'll have every cop and civic staring you down.

When I get new lights I will get the Hella H4 Xenon's. We would use 5-1/4" x 7-1/4" Rectangular.
