Geez guys, there is a lot of guessing going on here! The only part with lines to both the evap can and throttle body is a bvsv. It is a temp controlled valve that allows purging of evaporated fuel from the can after engine warm up. If the line to the throttle body is open to atmosphere, you have a major vacuum leak. Get a valve from the wreckers that is the same color or splice the lines together.
