I to am not sure what you mean by supra look. Like Stef said only the GT-S had the fender flares and supra rims.
If it has these features it is actualy a GT-S. 82-83 GTS celicas only got GT badging for some reason. So if everything says its a GT and it has fender flares it is a GT-S.
All 82-85 Celicas share the same angular look of the 82-86 Supras.
$2,200 is about right for a one owner 83. Maybe a little high because of the faulty A/C. I paid $1,500 for mine and who knows how many owners it had.
Overall these are great cars. They are very dependable with proper maintainence.
There is a seatbelt recall on the 82-83. If the seat belts don't retract easily then call your toyota dealership. Have the VIN handy. If they havent been fixed allready they will fix them for free.
