as i haven't run the sunoco 94 yet, but do run 90 octane 'canadian' gas every day. i have yet to run into any problem. i suggest you follow the advice of steve.. the 22r should 'stumble' around on revvs. most likely you need a bit of a tuneup.. check your plugs yo.
