supra look? celica and supra looked similar from ~1980-1985, through two generations.. hence the name supra-celica. uber celica.. get the idea?
the 83 gt is a misnomer. the 83 gt also came in a stealth gts. the gts had the irs, but was still badged w/ gt.
check the rear brakes, and diff.
83 gt(s)'s sometimes came with both irs and drums. some have discs tho.
i've got drums on the rear on my GT, and they still provide a fair bit of stopping power once loaded with good shoes (porterfield).
