engine problem

it still dies if im not in the gas,some guy told me that it could be the egr valve,maybe cause when the engine starts to shake so bad that it looks like its going to fly off the engine bay and i can hear the pcv valve making all kinds of noises but i give it gas and it goes back to normal,by the way about 2 months ago i did a total tune up on the thing,everything trany engine,coolant etc.and at the time ran real good and it still does on the freeway but once i have to stop(lower rpms)it starts shaking and diying on me,I thank you guys for all your help.
