Tom, remeber the fuel pump has to reprime the fuel system and bring it back up to presure.
If you let the motor turn off for about 15seconds and than stop whait about 30seconds(you do not what to fry the starter) and try starting the car again, after about 10 seconds the engine should start to try and start and it may stall and few times before it stays running.
A real pain in the ASS!

The only other way is to run the fuel pump for about 30 seconds buy running jumper wires to the fuel pmp wire that are under the hood, but I'm not sure where as I have never done it that way.

If you still can not get the car started after repeatly truning the engine over, say after 4 or 5 time(about One minute TOTAL crank time)than check around the fuel filter for leaks and the fuse(s) and such.
