Hi Tymme,
I'm afraid that I'm not enough of a gearhead to help you with tuning your '82 GTS. Although I'm learning with this one. Most of my talents with cars comes in detailing the body and trim. My dad was the true gearhead. He is the one that rebuilt the engine in my '82, and he helped a lot with the rebuild in the '85. (Supervised mostly...kept me out of trouble.) Unfortunatly, he lives in Arkansas, so is not easy to get to.
I looked at the photos of your '82 GT-S, and was also suprised to see such a nice one here in the Minneapolis area. Did your car come from out of state too? I have seen a couple of nice '82 - '85 Supras around, but not another GT-S. Minnesota weather is a killer on these cars, and I don't think they were really all that popular in this area of the country when they were new anyway.
