Hey ive got some experience with cars even though im only 16 but i was wondering why my celica still overheats. Ive replaced (in this order) fan wiring (had to find a short.....headache headache headache damn wires!), then thermostat , (the thermostat i took out was still working but i had already bought one so i went on ahead and replaced it, radiator (old one developed a leak), waterpump, oh and hoses. i dont really drive my car hard. but when ever i drive and hit 3,000-4000 rpms a couple of times while doing daily driving or when im in heavy traffic during the heat of the day it will start over heating. whenever i pull over both fans are on and the water is flowing. i dont understand it. everything is stock except for a k&n filter. anyone have some advise?........ im planing on getting some royal purple to help cooling and im thinking about a high performance fan . AIM me if you have any sujestions @ CivicKiller89TRD
