Have you tried to find the headligth relay? If not find it, unplug it. From that point you will need to get a hold of a digital meter with a continuity feature. Use the meter to start tracing out all of your circuts. What yo are looking for is a pair of circut that have shorted into each other, fix the short and plug the relay back in and see if you still have a problem.
