The front speakers are a bit smaller than 3.5" and the rear speakers are sorta in between 4x6 and 5x7. Like Steven pointed out in his site, 5 1/4 seperates work great in the rear. I mounted Boston Acoustic 3.5 in the front of my celica and had to cut some of the plastic around the speaker mount to get it to fit right. I have pictures on my celica page at:

The second speaker on the passenger side it a small 4" subwoofer. The sub is powered by a small amp located under the stock stereo unit. I have pictures of all this stuff after I pulled it out that I will upload to my celica site as soon as I get them digitized...
