I bought an 85 celica gts for 200 bucks. I found the head gasket bad, it needed the entire head remanufactured, and the crank was shot to hell (i had to rebuild the small block). $1500 and a year later im now just finishing it.

Id be sure the noise at the crank isnt a big deal. but other than that its prolly a good deal if the body isnt rusted.
