Has anyone had problems buying cheap break pads..

I changed my breaks about 2 weeks ago... anyway, I ended up having tons of problems with my master cylinder.. Not because of my break job, it just happened.. ended up replaceing my master twice and my break booster.. I was having problems with my breaks locking.. after getting it all working, my calipers still seem to be getting kinda hot.. So, I was thinking, that maybe because of when i did my breaks, I was kinda broke and went for the chepo pads.. (pads for an 83 are expencive!!) after all that, my question is, has anyone had any problems with cheap pads? like them sticking, or possibly getting to hot.. maybe wearing extreamly un even... thanks
