Can anyone help?

I'm thinking of buying an '83 Celica GT with an EFI 22-RE and 5 speed. The car looks good and runs/drives well; however, I was wondering if anyone could tell me about any problems specific to this model I should look for? I've never owned a foreign car before and any help is greatly appreciated.
