I've had my 84 for one year now. In the one year i've had it, heres all thats gone wrong:
1. Replaced broken exhaust system with SpinTech - Gain of 15 HP ;)
2. Some how my break lights were stuck on all night and half of the day, killed my battery - repleaced battery.
3. Sanded, sealed, bondoed, and pained all rust spots.
4. Timing chain guid decided to shatter. I finally replaced my timing chain and before then i didnt know how close i was to loosing my car. the timing chain was milimeters away from crackng into the waterpump!
5. My girlfriend shut my passenger door and it dislatched the arm that opens the door. i had to gain access inside the door-panel and reconenct the disconnected arm.
only 4 minor problems... and 1 normal 22R-E problem.
Things i'd like to do t my car:
Well... i bought a rear window louver, installed it, and it makes my celica look 10x better, adds kinda more aggresive look.
After seeing how cool that make my car look, i wanted somthing NO ONE has. i bought side window louvers for the two rear windows. In the year i've had my car and the year i've been doing research on celicas... i have NEVER seen a celica OR supra with side window louvers. a toy model racing supra had them. but no real cars.
once i install the side window louvers, i'll start the photo shoot and take pictures of my celica and post them here.
I'd like to get my car's horse power up around 150 - 160... i've got bout 130 right now... i dont know what i can do to add 20 - 30 more HP... any suggestions?
and last but not least... i want to lower my celica maybe a inch or two... make it look even more aggeressive and install anti-sway bars.
just felt like sharing my car to your guys,
x John Bridge. http://www.tx3.com/~sbridge <- celica site
