Fuel filter

hi steve,

I tried that fuel filter relocation mod, but the brackets on my 85 gt-s, are curved around the filters body did you straighten the brackets out? It took me 2hrs. just to take the darn thing off. i wanna do this mod, i know it's a pressure line on both ends, is there a way that i can cut the hose and elongate the end that goes to the fuel rail?
because the one from the tank is long enough already?
