Umm, just cuz the chambers have been modded to fit the domed pistons doesn't mean it'll work.  It might... but I wouldn't take the chance.  The 85-up engines also used a shorter timing chain cuz of the lower deck-height.  I believe the later heads were also taller than the early heads.  All of this means your cam in that head may not be the right distanct from the crankshaft for the timing chain to fit properly.

Are the exhaust ports in that head "pear shaped" or round?  Pear-shaped ports confirms it's a later head.  BTW, the exhaust manifold studs are in a different pattern on the later heads & your exhaust may no longer fit on that head.
