Here's a picture of a MKII with 265/50R14 BFGoodrich Radial T/A.

The guy told me that the tire just slip in place easely and that the handling is awesome.

We where 40 sometime more sometime less at the Montreal meet. Most of them were MKIII's, but I was lucky enough to find a crowd of MKII. 70% of them were white :D

I'm sorry but that guy has got to be full of shit. That tire has way too much sidewall on it. That things got to handle like shit. On the plus side, I but it rides smooth as hell.

265/50 puts it at the same amount of sidewall as a 225/60....

He has never tryed my car, that's why his definition of "awesome" isn't right. :D

To me it look strange. The sidewall isn't much more taller since it's a 50 series, but I do agree they don't look right. Can you say BULGE ? :D

they kinda fit but not safely man!!!! when you start drving w/ those tires you'll realize how spongy they are in turns adn feel liek they're gonna coem off teh rims. but it's only bcz they are. i run teh 245 60 14 and they're a little spngy adn my friend is runnign 245/50 14's and thpse are even worse than my 60s. teh word safety seriously comes to mind w/ those tires. i've looked into that size and they do fut the rim w/ no problem but you lose alot of control to them.
