hey guy   im just wondering what bellhousing i will need to do this swap  i got the 1jz sitting in my shed and by looking at it my dad doesnt think it would match up to the celica housing  so if there is one that i can grab from a junk yard that bolts to the back of the motor and then to the celica tranny let me know  im trying to finish up my project for summer

I think the only jz bellhousing that would work to mate to your w58 will be the bellhousing out of a non turbo mkIV supra, otherwise it'll be custom, or searching, I dont think you'd have alot of luck to find a mkIV supra in a wrecker up around there :P

yep, non-turbo MK4 Supra mates the JZ to the W58... hit up some supra forums,
they shouldnt be that hard to get a hold of

And any manual tranny RWD Lexus from the 90's.

SC300, IS300 I recall and I think GS300. That is those which had manual tranny options.

thanks for the info guys, my search continues to find the bell housing and if i cant find that where would i be able to pull a r154 tranny from. i have the mounts figured out already  the 1jz arent that much differant then the celica so i used the stock jz mounts and i added some beaces and a new plate over the stock car mounts to make it sit in there nice so far there isnt a tranny in the car yet cuz i took it out after i mocked up the mounts so im just looking for the bell housing so i can complete it all
