I'm unsure if I should post this here or further downt the forum.
83 GTS, two tone. I have the Metallic Brown and Black (on the Lower portion of body, and fender flares).
I have the car repainted after a hack job on the car once before. What I cannot remember (even with paint codes), is the two tone Black. I thought the Flares were Gloss Black, but cannot remember if the lower 1/2 of the body was Gloss, Satin, or Flat (I don't think Flat).
I can't seem to find enough pics to help me decide what it may be. Any help?
David

David Christ, this guy owns a GTS on a GTS forum and no one can answer his question?

Hmmm... I wasn't getting notifications from this topic for some reason. I will go through it and see if I need to make any changes. I just had someone email me that 2C5 two-tone needed to be added to the chart, so it has been done.

Culpeper, thanks for the info. I used the 1982 color information to "repair" the chart. It eliminated two incorrect colors and extended gray from 82 all the way through 85.
Have that color chart for the other years?
Also, which two-tone colors were available on the Celica... I saw the list of all Toyota two-tones, but not specifically which were available on the Celica.

Hmmm... the information on the Dupont color chip chart that you provided for 1982 does not match the information listed on the page you provided for 1982 colors. The Dupont color chip chart lists: 033 White 140 Gray 202 Black 391 Red 3A9 Red 4B4 Brown 541 Yellow 721 Turquoise 889 Blue The color list has these colors: 030 White 141 Silver 202 Black 391 Red 3A9 Red 4A8 Beige 4B4 Brown 541 Yellow 889 Blue As you can see, several of the colors are different depending on the source. I am going to list the colors that are on the Dupont chart as it seems to be more reliable. Can anyone explain why the list doesn't match the chart? http://1982celica.illusionfxnet.com/82%20T...lors/Colors.htm

Man, once again I didn't get an email notification when this topic was replied to... WTH? Anyway, if you have a two-tone then post the color code found on the production plate and the model year of the car... I can then update the chart. Also, the URL for the page has changed: http://www.toyotareference.com

The Mfr. Code for my 82 is 2C6 (Beige (4A8) & Black (202). The 4A8 was in your paint code for 82 but I don't see it now. Also a picture of my car was with the 4A8 color.

My '83 RA64 (Aug. '82 build date) has a paint code of 125, which has the exciting designation( <_< ) of Silver Metallic.
