It's a way to get a beefed bottom end and increased compression and of course, VVTI. Personally though, I'd rather go 4.7 bottom end, gen 2 heads (non vvti) and itbs. More displacement. But even that sucks. The gen one heads and block are the one to use for boost. Unless you're building the 3uz bottom end (which really only needs rods)
