Thanks for the positive feedback!

I'm back in town, and we're not quite ready for another batch, but we're getting there.

Remember everyone, these MUST be adhered down in the socket.  You do NOT want these things riding up and causing issues.

Not hard, took me about an hour and a half. The hardest part is getting enough of the old rubber bushing out to slide this down in, but it can be done with the trans in the car and without taking the shifter plate off.
Right now I'm waiting for the JB weld to set up and I'll have my initial reports on how things are going tomorrow :D

...through the entire install, chant "I don't have to pull and split the transmission"

Feedback on the shift feel is appreciated.  We NEED all the others to know about this kit, because it won't be around forever at this price (that I can promise you).

Got em in and tested and all I have to say is...
Oooooooooooooooooo!
These aren't just good, they're seriously good. There is NO slop in the shifter whatsoever. With my cut down shifter there was a very slight increase in noise, but otherwise it runs just like stock, only the shifter is now Snap On ratchet precise.

That answers the question I was going to ask about the cut down shifter - is that short throw?

Nah, just cut down, it doesn't actually shorten the throw, it just makes it so you don't have the semi truck shifter anymore.

I would assume the brass bit and the lower ball one will. A proper short throw should come with it's own seat bushing.
