Suggestion For The Forums
« on: Mar 22, 2004, 02:18:47 am »
Should Steve ever come and read this, I'd like to suggest a "how to" forum that has how to posts for things like the 240SX strut tower bars, AFM adjustment, etc...

I agree. His old sight has lots of how to stuf on it, and pictures are included of progress. It's an excellent idea.

Damn you Scuba Steve :(  We called the DSL doods and they said that they have no intentions at putting their service in a shitty town like mine <_<  I'll show them (flipping off the computer screen)

I had dsl service for about 2 weeks and then switched back to real broadband service, provided by my cable company. I run an adverage speed of 9500mps. I was running and adverage of 160mps with dsl, what crap. Cable modem is the way to go.

Hmm, well, when you can't get cable cuz it's not offered, DSL is the only choice >_>

That would be a great idea. I guess the search feature does not work well since most people do not use it.

I've had both DSL and Cable. They are both broadband. For my providers, the download speed was the same and my DSL upload was twice as fast as cable. This increased to 3 times faster upload last month.
Connection speed depends on your provider's equipement and where you live.
This website below will not only test your connection, but you can compare to others in your area with same provider and other providers in your area.

( Internet connection speed test )

I use the Megapath test server.

i have cable at home 2.4mps.  waiting around for the 56k to load is just goofy.  if it wasn't free it would be even more depressing.
