Not sure, on the picture they show a painted header on a V8 throwing flames! I'd try it out!

I painted my stock headers, they were rusted orange and pitted to hell so I just sprayed the stuff on and it hasnt come off enven after 3 years and overheating.  The only spots it came off is in some of the little pits.. I guess I could have tried cleaning it first or sandblasting..

There is a special powder coating that could be used also. Keeps the heat in the manifold, and the outside warm to the touch.  Imagine what that would do for under hood temperatures

Yeah that's jet hot coating. It's really expensive to have done but it's an awesome coating. You can spack it with a hammer and it still will not flake off.

That stuff makes it header/manifold warm to the touch and wont flake off? OMG, sounds the the perfect thing ever. I might have to look into that.

But keep in mind that when you keep all that heat inside your header/manifold it tends to destroy your header/manifold 10 times faster from the inside out.

Thats the only downfall of keeping heat inside of your exhaust.
