Digital Dash & Analog Wiring Diags
« on: Dec 24, 2008, 06:16:47 am »
Many who want to do the conversion, but don't have the pinouts and diagrams may find this useful. I got this several years ago, and just found it now, buried under a ton of pictures in a drawer. I know they're not the best quality, but it's better than nothing, and it's not from my manual. A fellow from ebay that purchased my Supra parts sent me these. If the Mods feel this is worthy of being stickied or in the write-ups section, please feel free to move it there.

At first I thought, wow that is already in the Haynes, and then you busted out the pinouts, damn good work. And the pinouts for the clusters could help people out on troubleshooting to since it shows where exactly each connection ends up

oh sweet. Going to save these images. Hey Matt do you still have your digital dash still? Or one of them, last I remember you said something about having two I think?

Not sure when I'll be able to buy it off of you if you still have one but I really want to when I get some cash.

83CelWa, Thank you! It's the main reason I posted this. I want people to have access to the pinouts, so they know what they're doing if they want to take on the swap from analog to digital, or vice versa. Granted, this is the 83 Supra manual, but I don't think the pinouts changed. Only the tach option from 4 to 6 cylinder.

AJ, I do in fact still have both digital dash's, and am not sure what to do with them at this point. I have already set one of them aside for another member, IF I decide to let them go. Unfortunately there has just been too much on my plate and stuff placed on the back burner from 5 years of being on cruise ships, and now having the job in California. I really need to find a decent job near home, with normal hours, so I can get back to focusing on my projects. I just love to travel so much though, that I miss it when I'm not. :wall:

wirysage, Don't be afraid of wiring. It's just making sure the pins are all in the correct places, and the sensors are correct. :P

I'm glad to see some members getting excited over this, and to see something positive for a change. Been feeling a little beat up here lately over other stuff. :)
