Depends on what... in a straight line id probably say celica, if you didnt blow it up first. in the twisties i would have to say GTR or RX-7, maybe MR2

1986 Tercel 4WD 4AFE Swap: Going strong
1986 MR2: What a beast!

i dunno, i still think the RX-7 would waste a celica, it doesnt weigh much more and has perfect weight distribution.

Not to mention the twin turbo AWD inline six Skyline he's talking about.

Although a fast MR2 VS a twin turbo RX would be a challenge in the handeling department.

ummm maybe with alot of mods. I knew someone who had a Twin Turbo RX and i've rode in it before. They are fast and eveything but i dont they are as fast as a ferrari... maybe if you did a 20B engine swap with a HUGE turbo or twin turbo system, possible tri turbos... but that would cost almost $20G's

I would go with the RX-7 for over all performance.  The Skyline is not all that greats in the twisties. The RX-7 is a very light nimble car, that has good throtle response and cornering abilitiies.  The Celica with nitrous  would probably hold up with it, but if there are alot of corners the RX would beat it.  The Supra is way too heavy, and the Skyline, as good as it may be has an oversteer problem. The MR-2 with a few mods would hold its own, but mod for mod still sticking with the RX-7

Yeah I agree, but think it would look better if the make it a two door again. I think the need for the roof space is what messed it up

Ah yes, but you have to remember, its a whole new model. its not supposed to be a new RX-7. They are thinking about making a 4th generation RX-7 is sales are good from the RX-8

i would go with the skyline gtr  some say it handels rought but thats only b/c you have to drive a car right using proper skill for the car 1 trip around the block in a car and i can drive it like a racecar driver but im still not supperbly comfortable with thye car till i know it what it sounds like engine road noise and its quirks and those special noises each car makes any car i can drive at 70-80 mph and not worry but going beyond that point takes a knowing of yer car like i know my celica i can take her over 130 no problem  but the skyline with a bit of moding would be awsome mostly susspension and a bit of 2ning to the engine and possable tranny gearing upgrade
ok black ops your ip is removed

The Skyline is a great car, but it is not as great as most people make it. The Nissan Pulsar GTR is faster than it in most competitions.  None of the Skylines in Antigua are counted in the top 5 fastest cars there, and one of them is heavily modified.
