You would only need the engine to rev to 6000rpm to take advantage of this system.

if i remember right, HKS made some weird version of the supercharger or maybe a dual induction system for the 4AGE/4AGZE. I was reading about some crazy HKS induction system for that motor.

HKS has made some really awesome parts back in the day. I wish they'd rerelese some of their 80's parts... like that twin turbo system for the 5MGE/6MGE or the 4AGE induction kit.

It is actually believed that Toyota released a 1G engine with this system. I say believed because no one seems to know too much about it.  I have seen a couple cars with it on the net, but cannot remember where

Ferraris are not as fantastic as everyone tries to make them to be. I personally would prefer a Porsche than a Ferrari.  Dont forget that in the early 70s they were beaten by a Ford :)  The 308 is not their flagship car, so dont expect it to be a top performer. For that you would have to look at the Enzo and the F40.  Also keep in mind that when that car did 7 sec 0-60 most people were extatic to get to 60mph in 9secs

You can take your money and buy that and improve on it for your SCCA racing.  That way you can stay in a good class

The tires look funny on it. I would put larger tires on it. I am not too fond of the low proflie tires on the rims because it makes too much room in the wheel well...

Yes HKS had a "twin charger" kit for the 4A-GE engine they also had a twin turbo for 5/6M-GEs.  The 1G engine came in many forms -FE, -GE, -GZE, -GTE, and a twin turbo 1G-GE(1G-GTE).    Toyota also had a few twin plug heads, and has used twin entry turbo systems several cars
Twin Entry=  one trubo but with the dual inlets, or to put another way one large divided inlet.

I also beleive Nissan had  twin charger system on some of thier smaller front drive cars.
