he's saying this:

4-6 Cylinders = Turbo
8 Cylinders = Supercharger
10-12+ = N/A...

although the new Bugatti has a W16 with 4 turbos...

Actually I would think the supercharger would have a bigger benefit on the smaller engines, due to the fact that it will give them much needed lowend torque. the problem is that there isnt a good source for high performance superchargers in the sport compact scene. As a result of this the supercharger hasnt been given the fame it deserves for the street cars. For all out racing I would go with a turbo though, since there is less parasitic power loss.

Yeah, I feel the same way...There are a few manufactures making SC's for SCCs but mostly Hondas, cause thats where the money is at.

It just doesn't seem fitting to have sc on 4's or 6's or turbos on 12's etc.

Like i said before, i personally perfer a SC over a turbo... and i love the 4AGZE and i wouldnt mind that nice SC for the 22RE either. its just too bad it costs so damn much and is so darn rare.

Thats because that is how the industry is...I'm sure if all these 4 and 6 cyl cars came with SCs from the factory then youself and many others would think that should be the standard.
