What have you MADE work on your car???

personally I had/have:
- rigged mounting brackets to mount fog lights behind grill
- HAD a crx spoiler
- HAD modified supra spoiler for front facia
- now have a Saab 900 spoiler
- Chevy Tahoe LED Brake Light (mounted to spoiler)
- Supra racing seats

I won't ghetto rig my car. I own 2 85 Celica's and if it's broke. I fix it right. If I don't have the money to buy new. I can usually find a replacment parts in the junkyards. I can't see doing something half way. That's why I own 3rd gen Celica's. Because of how long they last. And when they do breakdown. I fix them right. So the part will last aonther 10 years or more.

only thing i have "ghetto rigged" is the speaker box in the hatch, and thats just because it looks like it has wings lol.

says sr5 all over em
pepboys driver seat cover for color
not sure wut the yellow wire powering the cigarette lighter is for
but it's apparently not for the cigarette lighter...
nothing holding in the cd player, amp or cb
well, wiring
off road light covers all falling apart from being on wen lights got turned on and melted
one bolt holding down passenger seat
nothing holding roll cage to anything

Yeah I'm with dynamic. I use stuff that is suppose to go on there...but when I got the car there were a few things that the used car dealership had rigged. But the funny thing is if they would have fixed it the right way it would have been faster to take care of then rigging it..

just because it isnt "original" doesnt mean it cant be used!!! then I could say anyone that has bought any aftermarket shit from like LC Engineering is doing the same thing!!! or custom anything!!! Just because it isnt stock doesnt mean it doesnt work!! and being rigged doesnt mean its half-assed....just means it is using imagination and still done right!!! ....Gotta open yer minds a bit!!!

i put airshox on the front of my truck
works great
not for lift, for the ride
like riding on air
won't bottom now either

Well you need to rephrase the question then. Ghetto rigged means half-assed and no where close to original....meow if you are talking about putting other things then stock in your car, that is COMPLETELY different then ghetto rigging something...

When I installed my A/F guage insted of using a mounting a new O2 sensor I used the O2 wire going into the ECU to get my signal. That way I did not have to drill a hole in the firewall and run a new wire. I still have th heated O2 sensor, but I'm never going to use it.

toy says to change em at 80K ...
wut's it reading?
how many miles on it?
can you 'see' the o2 and ecu 'working' on a/f meter?

82 supra seats.. these things are sweet
82 supra power windows.. switches are mounted side by side on the opposite side of the steering wheel from the speedo light dimmer
82 supra 14X7 wheels
85 celica front corner assemblies. white top/orange bottom.. instead of the flat orange corners
85 celica GTS rear fender flares
removed rear seats, removed front grill inbetween headlights, and
short shifter mod
