Yes I replaced my O2  sensor not long after I bought the car, about 10Kmiles ago. Yes I can see it working. The will jump around at times, but when cruising it nice and even, I have a slight miss very now and then and you can see it in the A/F guage.
For tuning it is very nice to have.  I going to have either a EGT sensor or a vacuum gauge next, but I'm not sure yet.   The vacuum gauge is much cheaper, but less useful then the EGT.

But I had hoped to have the car painted by now(been work on it since spring) but it is get cold here, so I way just put off any type of mod intill the painting is done.

Pretty much the only thing I have rigged in my car so far is the new o2 sensor I put in. I mistakenly got the wrong 02 sensor (the kind that screws into the exhaust manifold), so I tore apart the old o2 sensor and made a mount out of it...But when I first got the car they had the alternator wired in wrong (they replaced it with a new one..actually a 80amp one) so they took out the lights to the handbrake light and the charge light. Well after I put the lights back in, I noticed that they would not turn off. Well I looked and saw that the main power wire coming from the alt (the big white wire) was hooked to the battery. Well all it took was about 5 min and a solderless connector that I had left over from a amp kit and the problem was fixed...
