Seeing the video of the two vettes racing (and crashing) I wanted to share another video I did about street racing. There was a situation a few years ago where two kids were street racing on the freeway, in the afternoon during heavy traffic, and one car lost control and crashed, hitting a mom driving the opposite direction - I believe she was killed. The so-called friend had stopped and saw his crashed buddy burning in the car and covered his own ass and left the scene, leaving his friend to die.
Later that week, all the street racing sites were full of jackasses claiming "they weren't racing". The point is, if you and another car are both driving fast on the freeway, and you're both trying to get from point A to point B faster than the other guy, you're freaking racing. period.
Anyway... thinking about all the unnecessary deaths that occur from illegal street racing, I wrote something for the single mom's who's kids are racing on the streets... and the fear that each night might be his last. The poem is entitled
