Celica Dragon?
« on: Oct 10, 2009, 05:09:43 pm »
i've been googling for a nice crisp image of the celica dragon for another project of mine.  another hobby of mine is building and refinishing guitars and i'd like to make a celica inspired guitar.  i have some paint that i never got to use on my '85 celica coupe and i'd like to use that on the guitar body and also have a large image of the celica dragon on the front of the body and continue on to the pick guard as well.  in order to do that i need an image.  i'm thinking something roughly 8" to 9" tall by 6" to 7" wide should work well.  i don't have any good software to use, i've tried already with what i have and nothing comes out right.  i'm a lefty so trying to draw with my right hand on the PC never works out well.

that's the idea, here are a couple renderings i came up with using an online "build your guitar" program.  since this is going to be a Fender Stratocaster style, i'm calling this one the "Celicaster" and giving it a serial # of my old Celica's VIN, should be a fun project.   :)

thanks for your help.
