you are going to design, and construct a V12 from scratch? i think that'll cost more than buying a Ferrari's V12.

I won't b all alone I've got friends everywhere including engine shops I'm slightly considering a V-10 for weight and less complexity but...

Do you know the costs of R & D on a engine?  You will have to design a block, then internals. Not as simple as machining a block of aluminum and throwing slugs in it

Exactly!

If i was going to do a v12 i'd get a Toyota V12. I thihnk any other v12 would cost too much. (i.e. Ferrari, BMW, Jag, Lambor, etc) Unless you found a old v12 out of one of those older jag's...

Why do you want a v12 so bad anyways?

Way too heavy. You would have to use exotic materials to utilize the engine for speed

I'm reconsidiring the v-12 for weight reasons Its' gonna be either a
 V-10,V12,V8TT,O-8TT
Any of which will be handbuilt

You might have space problems with that last set up. Stick with the V set up
