yeah, rally racing rules all, I seriously want to get into it, but have no $$, and no idea how to, I could get into circle track racing easy ( a buddy at work has a race car he races locally around here), but I dont find it appealing, oooo, drive in a circle as fast as you can, wow, doesnt appeal to me, but, flying down a dirt road at breakneck speeds when you have never driven it before, and have no idea what to expect at the next turn, now that requires mad driving skills

Well, I can see how driving in circles would seem a bit boring, but if you've ever been in a circle track car, as I have, with a professional driver, and surrounded by other drivers, you'd probably feel a bit different about it. I'd like to see anyone here drive at speeds over 100mph, in a pack of other cars going the same speeds, into some turns that don't look all that sharp to a viewing audience, but at those speeds feels much different, all the while maintaining control of the car, while literally driving 2 inches apart, and sometimes less, and feel bored doing it.
It's not as easy as it looks. Anyone in PA or surrounding areas, that wants to look into it. Bertyl Roos Racing School. It's in the Poconos, and you'll be driving on Pocono Raceways track. If you've got some cash, and a day to spare on a weekend, go have some fun. You'll sit in a class for a couple of hours with an instructor, and then it's off to the track. You also get a real certificate. Of course they start you off in some hopped up 4 cylinders, but if you go back, you then drive a 6 cyl, and finally an 8cyl.
And yes...Rally is insane. I'd probably need to bring a change of underwear to do something like that.

Well, it does sound awesome. Just watch out for the other knuckleheads. It's one thing to wreck a racecar that belongs to someone else, it's another to wreck your own car. Don't want to see another Celi go to the crusher.

Do they allow for warm ups, and test runs? If they do, that would be a good thing. Maybe you should find a farm to parctice on. You know, a little late night adventure, when there's no traffic. Get a feel for the car in the dirt.    I remember driving through a corn field one night, just for shits, and grins. Bad idea! It was fackin fun, but I had a hell of a time with cleaning up the car, and I cracked the grill, and dented the hood in a few places. I guess I deserved it for terrorizing the crops.

DAMNIT! Let's hope that another one doesn't bite the dust, and that he fixes her up properly.
