No thanks I finished my designs today for the V-12 and 0-10 (opposed 10 cyl.)
dude, you do understand that it takes hundreds of man hours and years of research and development to make a brand new V12 from scratch or design a whole new engine like a Opposing 10??? Not to mention how long it'll take a singel person to build a engine that they designed themselves and on top of that, how are you going to have money and how will you test these engines to even know anything about them?
Totally agree with you there.  Seems like it only took you a week and a half to come up with a new V-12 and or Flat-10.  By that rate, your enigne should be done say next week  :P

I think I got screwed on my panda paint job...

I am not going to try to talk you out of it, but I would encourage you to have an intense conversation with an engineer and a machinist. This is going to be a very expensive project and if you mess up once you will have to start over again. The people that I know have designed engines, took them over 5yrs of development. Even the bigger automotive companies do not build an engine from scratch within a year. Just my advice, dont want to see you waste your money. However, it is a nice goal.

Good to know you are reconsidering without telling the team leaders dude.
You need to tell us about these things, as bridge had recently stated, TRT is very interested in your plans. I say you go along with your original ideas, %#!& what other people want you to do, its your car, do what YOU want. To Each his own man, to each his own.

Let out the secrets on the project then maybe we could advise on what you should keep and what you should change, but in the end it will all be up to you. I am glad to know you changed you mind about the engine, although I do hope you try to do it over a longer period of time, since it is a goal of yours

What are you looking for from your engine? What are you hoping for in regards to performance?

Modify a 4cylinder, to save on front end weight. You would probably need atleast 350hp to get to those figures with that weight.  How do you intend to get your chassis weight down to that figure?

360hp at 1800lb should get you at 11s quarter at 132.31mph. That should get you where you want to be. You should be able to get that out of a 22RTE, 3SGTE, 3TGTE or heavily modded 2TG, 2TC, 3TC
